FUNCTIONS OF MYANMAR PIONEER STAR TRADING BUSINESS

Myanmar Pioneer Star Trading(MPST) is operating its business under Myanmar Pioneer Star Co., Ltd. Its operation includes sales and marketing of Industrial Minerals ( Bentonite, Zeolite, Dolomite, Calcium Carbonate, Talc, Mica, Gypsum, Kaolin ) to local and foreign market.

It started direct marketing and selling by supplying of Bentonite and Zeolite to Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation for use in construction of Diaphragm walls in dams and soil preparation in agriculture sector. MPST is main supplier of Bentonite and zeolite to Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation and also to Ministry of Construction , Ministry of Railways and Transportation , Ministry of Electric Power (II) ( Directorate of Hydropower ).

In 2003, Bentonite was exported to Thailand for foundry industry use.

In 2004, MPST started selling of Dolomite, Calcium Carbonate, Zeoplus, Gypsumolite, Probiotics, and Enzymix Powders etc...to fish and shrimp breeding of integrated farms. At the same time, three grades of Bentonite were sold to all industrial zones in Myanmar, construction companies which were performing bore pile works, oil and gas companies, United Nations Organizations and Non Government Organizations.

In year 2006, MPST got agreement with Irrigation department for supplying 8000 tons of Bentonite to National project HTAMANTHI.

Moreover, MPST participated in every Aqua Trade Fair, Trade Fair held by Myanmar Women Entrepreneurs Association, and Trade Fair held by Ministry of Commerce.

For the development of Aquaculture, MPST frequently held Seminar and Discussion on the topics of Water Quality Management, Feed Management, Disease and Environmental Management by the experts and technicians from MPS company.

Now MPST is negotiating with FUJI Trade company to export Bentonite, Mica, Talc and Calcium Carbonate to Japan market.

MPST can offer to execute the following business in joint venture basis with foreign and local partners.
• Growing, producing, harvesting, preserving , packing, milling and manufacturing of agriculture
and farm produces.
• Livestock breeding, processing and canning of livestock products.
• Manufacturing of construction materials and paints.
